Thank you for visiting Wincle CE school website. I am Sheila Loughlin, headteacher of this school since 2002. I am delighted to have this opportunity to show you my school. |

Wincle is a very special Church of England school, 150 years old, idyllically situated in the wonderful Cheshire Peak Park village of Wincle. |

Numbers are small-our capacity in the main school is 49. At present the junior class has 24 children and the infant class 20. Twincle pre-school has a capacity of 12 children from 2½ years old. |

At present there are 14 children enrolled in Twincle-some part-time. |
|
My staff are the school’s strongest asset-not just in the ratio of staff to children, which at 1:9 at the school and 1:4 at Twincle is very good, but also in the quality of care and teaching that they deliver to our pupils. The teachers, teaching assistants, support staff, parents and governors of Wincle School are a very strong, united team with the interests of our children at the centre of everything we do. |

Each child receives a very individual education at the heart of which is high quality teaching, high expectations, Christian values and a stimulating environment. All our children are very happy, well cared for and achieve excellent academic standards.
